Fixes
  • The dialog about expanding your turf when you return from fighting Dom in Casino Row will now only show once.

  • The Friends with Benefits quest no longer has a Visit Home Turf button if you're already on your Home Turf.
  • Cleared up an error that could appear when you clicked on your Mission Log if you had more than 5 missions active in it.
  • The Reinforced Gate/Secure Fencing in Westside Wharf is now, actually, secure. No, really, we mean it this time! Your avatar can no longer pass through without having to unlock it.
  • El Kiddo will only remind you that you've unlocked new equipment in the Marketplace, and won’t mention building levels now.
  • If you use a +5 Energy Pack and then try to do an action that requires more energy than you have, you'll get a prompt letting you know.
  • One of the many Money Collection missions was incorrectly stating that you only needed to collect from 8 buildings, not 10.
  • The Marble Wall now matches the placement footprint, and the Marble Wall Corner won't show through other objects now.
  • We’ve added a new icon to your screen that will let you know when there's a limited time offer or sale.
  • In the State of the Union, the union worker said "Here, take this" but never actually gave you anything.
  • The Rob Blind mission's first task was not updating unless you refreshed the game.
  • Flamingo decorations will no longer show through objects placed in front of them.
  • The Animated Lion decoration is no longer offset from its footprint when being placed.
  • If you place the weapon shop for the Build a Weapon Shop mission and then refresh, the guide arrow will no longer return over the Marketplace.
  • Opening the Crafting tab in the Marketplace will no longer cause the occasional Flash Application error.
  • Coins no longer fly out of the fuel depot when it's exploding.
  • The guide arrow in the Build a Grow House mission will no longer cover the Buildings tab in the Marketplace.

How to create a quick "Visit Me" Link

To create a quick visit me link - which will be good to get help from non friends or from friends who cannot see you in their crew list , first you will need to get your player id

to find it you need to get to your wall and find some game feed you posted , like energy / health / part request . then right click on the Get Health / Help x and click copy link address/location . paste it somewhere to be able to edit it.

the link will look like this "http://apps.facebook.com/mafiawars-two/reward.php?senderId=12345678901...."

now take your sender id (player id) and place it at the end of this link : http://apps.facebook.com/mafiawars-two/?visitId=

so it will look like http://apps.facebook.com/mafiawars-two/?visitId=12345678901

thats it you now have your visit link dont forget to save it :)

Basic guide to Mafia Wars 2

Welcome, here you can learn the basics of the game Mafia Wars 2. We will start of with very basic instructions so this is dedicated to the beginners of the game.

  • Basic: Mafia Wars 2 works with click and go action. Your character moves wherever you click on the land. Also, clicking can make your character to do jobs, fight and other different stuffs. In the game there are different locations so you can visit different places and do jobs. Doing jobs and fighting requires energy.
  • Collecting consumables and bonuses: When doing jobs and fighting different bonuses and loots drop out. To collect them simply hover you mouse above the bonuses and you will be able to collect them.
  • Locations: There are different locations you can visit. Missions and jobs vary from a location to other. Home turf is your home location where you produce and expand your mafia empire building new houses, employing workers and earn cash from them.
  • Missions: You will be given different missions in the game. After you complete one another one will follow it and so you will be doing a lot of missions. Basically tutorial missions will teach you a lot of different aspects of the game.

How energy works?

If you have played other Zynga games you should not have much problem understanding the concept of "Energy"in Mafia Wars 2. However energy in Mafia Wars 2 does differ a little from other Zynga games. We will try to explain the most basic things you will need to understand about energy here.

  1. What uses energy?
  • In Mafia Wars 2, most actions require energy. First of all, collecting requires energy, that is , collecting from workers, houses, casinos etc. Also doing jobs like playing in the Casino, robbing buildings require energy. And finally fighting requires energy.
  • However, constructing and upgrading buildings, hiring and ordering jobs for workers,  and buying buildings do not require energy.

     2. How do you get more energy?
  • Your energy gets slowly increased and regenerates itself in time.
  • Visiting friends gives you energy.
  • Posting on facebook feed could get you energy packs.
  • Or you could purchase energy drinks and packs using gold.
  • You get energy when you level up.
  • You can also acquire energy through energy generating buildings.
  • You sometimes get energy randomly when doing jobs or fighting.

Game update: October 18 2011

Of Special Note

  • Some players weren't able to load the game because they had too many crew and rivals trying to visit their turf. If you couldn't load before, please try now!
  • We've made a few more tweaks to the friend selector: You now have an X to close it, "Cancel" has been changed to "Return to Game," and both will highlight after the first batch of sends.
  • The number of items you can receive from friends per day has been raised from 15 to 25.
  • We've added a "MW 1 & 2 Friends" tab in the friend selector. Checking the "Select All" box will select all of the friends currently shown in the window. Request away!
Changes and Additions
  • Your friends will now randomly show up on your home turf or when you travel to other zones!
  • The Casino Row zone shop has new items.
  • Certain missions that had unbalanced Energy vs. Loot rations have been adjusted.
  • Certain social jobs had their unbalanced rewards adjusted downward.
  • The Equip, Unequip, and Buy buttons are now easier to tell apart from one another.
  • Some Arena shop items had their prices adjusted.
  • You can now sell Wardrobe items from the profile.
  • We've added the ability to quick-publish (no share dialog) the following events to your friends when you level up or win a boss fight.
  • You'll now have an indicator over your building letting you know when enough friends have accepted your request to help upgrade it.
Fixes
  • The guide arrow for the Visit Zoe mission will no longer show up before you get the mission.
  • When clicking on a red-shielded rival to visit their turf and rob them, the rival would chicken out and not show up so you could rob them. They'll suck it up and fight now.
  • When the leaderboard resets each week, it should only reset your rank on the leaderboard, not your title. You'll no longer be reset to Newbie every week!
  • You can now choose your reward from Charlie the Drunk!
  • It now costs energy to fight the security guards in Neon Strip.
  • Guide arrows were added to the building & harvesting Gun Shop missions.
  • It will be easier now to collect energy from your friends' energy stations during the Recharge mission.
  • The Weapon Shop's Upgrade pushpin sometimes got lonely and started to follow your avatar around. It's been sent home to stay.
  • Zoe's buildings will no longer have Power-Up icons after you collect from them.
  • The Rob icon will now only show up if the building or agent can actually be robbed.
  • When you remove one of the three pieces of debris on the home turf that get swapped with safes, the debris will now clear immediately.
  • The Moose is no longer loose! The Moose is Loose mission now completes when you kill Moose.
  • Missions that have Street Cred as rewards will no longer throw an error when you open their information screens.
  • The female Yellow T-shirt no longer colors outside the lines.
  • The thugs accompanying Moose and Bonecrusher no longer have "Cannot Find String" when you mouse over them.
  • The Gearing Up quest has been moved to level 18.
  • Moose is a little dense, so you'll have to forgive him for telling you to upgrade your garage to level 2 right after you already did it. We got it through his thick skull and he'll no longer tell you to do it again.
  • The Place a Parts Factory mission will no longer pop up a "0% increase!" message (it was kind of a letdown).
  • The Joshua Tree is no longer offset when rotated.
  • Clicking on the brass knuckles when you're already in an arena will no longer cause the game to hang.
  • The Laspear no longer has placeholder art.
  • The Crazy Cat Lady in Bluebird Meadows no longer has a placeholder icon.
  • The Ski Mask and Eye Patch now display correctly when worn.
  • The Recharged mission will now update correctly when you collect from a friend's energy plant.
  • The "inventory full" message was hidden behind the Workshop window, so you couldn't tell why you weren't able to buy more parts.
  • The mouse-over text for Bonuses in the Bone Yard has been updated.
  • Instead of getting close enough to stab your rival in the eye with your gun, your avatar will leave enough space to aim and fire.
